A return to Norrath, the fictional world of one of the most impactful games of all time, EverQuest. Through a fan-made and developer-blessed emulation effort called Project 1999, I was able to go back to what is called the "Classic Era," and perform a deep dive through paint and personalities that provided a perspective and insight into lightning that has yet to be recaptured in any bottle.
