Cazel

There is probably no other giant in all of EverQuest as notorious as Cazel. While there is some debate as to whether he patrolled to the docks in the original version of EverQuest back in 1999 (my memory remembers it for some reason), he certainly does in the Project 1999 emulation. Regardless, Cazel is a specific experience, especially for newer players who aren't as familiar with the force of destructive nature that he is.

It's a cinematic scene, no doubt. You are sitting at the docks, running to the docks, or just passing through the zone in the Oasis of Marr when you hear it. Giant footsteps stomping heavily around you in the sand. It's not very uncommon, but Cazel is something different. He's easily the highest level creature in the zone, and has killed many a player in one punch. Often, before they even know what happened.

Corpses can be found all over the zone, tracing a path of destruction and unexpected death. The painting here depicts that terror. Someone sitting on the docks, barely aware of the fist that is about to flash them out of existence. Or, at least, back to their bind point.
