Front Lines

On a quiet day in a financial district of a great and prosperous kingdom, a gigantic hole opened up and swallowed the earth. From it, poured droves of goblins, wights, and unknown horrors that the world hadn't seen for thousands of years, and some never recorded at all. At once, the kingdom had to mobilize and militarize any and all offensive and defensive forces they could muster, even taking the once regal and erudite culture and turning them into tools of war. This drastically changed not only the culture of their schools and academies, but also of battle.
