Don't let his name or appearance fool you - "Mud Rat" is easily one of the most powerful mages in the kingdom's arsenal. A raging alcoholic and legendary madman, Mud Rat will do what others refuse, in places they won't go, with magic few would dare to learn. As a result, his hygiene and presence are offensive, his nose lost to the caustic and toxic spells he casts, and his tome must be kept locked up and chained to his body. Even the pages must be handled with a special gauntlet.
